ASTM F2882 / F2882M Alloy Steel Bolting Specification

Quenched & Tempered Alloy Steel Bolts & Screws

Overview

High-Strength Alloy Steel Screws – ASTM F2882 / F2882M

Adfast Component LTD offers quenched and tempered alloy steel screws conforming to the ASTM F2882 / F2882M specification. These screws range from 0.060 to 1-1/2 inches (1.6 to 48 mm) in diameter and are designed to deliver a minimum ultimate tensile strength of 170 KSI (1170 MPa). Manufactured from fine-grain steel with an austenitic grain size of 5 or finer, our screws ensure exceptional durability and reliability for demanding applications.

Each screw undergoes rigorous quality checks to meet ASTM standards, including referee tests in accordance with Test Methods E112 to ensure grain size precision. Adfast Component LTD is committed to delivering top-quality products that meet the highest performance standards for industrial and engineering needs.

Bolting Components Marking

Product Shall be Marked with our manufacturing trade mark Adfast Component LTD along with the designated Grade.
Grade and manufacturer’s identification symbols shall be applied to one end of studs and to the heads of bolts and screws of all sizes. (If the available area is inadequate, the grade symbol may be marked on one end and the manufacturer’s identification symbol marked on the other end.) For bolts and screws smaller than 1⁄4 in. [6 mm] in diameter and studs smaller than 3⁄8 in. [10 mm] in diameter and for 1⁄4 in. [6 mm] in diameter studs requiring more than a total of three symbols, the marking shall be a matter of agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
